Strip clubs in Mazatlan is a touchy subject and that is why it is so difficult to find information about them on the Internet or anywhere else for that matter. They are there but not many of them and they range from a relatively tame touristy titty-dance joint, to a few grittier establishments hidden down in the back streets.
It is important to bear in mind that Mazatlan is not Bangkok and also, the roaring free-wheeling 70s and 80's have been replaced in this new millennium by a tamer family friendly business environment along the entire Mexican Riviera. The lack of advertising makes Mazatlan strip clubs a little difficult but not impossible to find. However; with a little know how under your belt you should have no trouble locating all of them if you so choose.

Mexico is a Catholic society and culture and that effects everything. This is why you won't find strip clubs with big neon signs in front like you may be used to seeing north of the border. However; the bright side of that equation is that unlike Yankee clubs, Mazatlan strip clubs are for the most part a lot less regulated then strip clubs up north of the border.

Just like all other forms and varieties of vacation entertainment to be found in Mazatlan, the strip clubs there are far more affordable than what you may be used to. Also, a self respecting Mexican strip club patron  would find the concept of a “juice bar” laughable and would sincerely have trouble conceiving why anyone in their right mind would step foot in a strip club that didn't serve alcohol.

Bear in mind though, that you are a gringo and most Mazatlan strip clubs cater to the locals, so you are most likely going to be charged a bit more for your drinks and “whatever else” you decide to procure while you are patronizing them. Even so, the Pacifico's are still a bargain and the girls don't hustle you for free cash “handouts” like they tend to do in in the clubs north of the border.

Your Not in Kansas Any More, Toto

La Botana is easy to find because it is on the main drag a half a block up from Senior Frogs. Its a little pricier then the rest but it is big, clean, nicely furnished and the dancers there are the best you will find in Mazatlan. La Botana is close, convenient, and you will mostly find tourists like yourself in it. Theres a cover at the door and beers are going to run you around $5 each.

The rest of the Mazatlan strip clubs are an entirely different story all together. They are called “Heppo Campo” and “Tarandas”. The table dances there are still called table dances but they bear no resemblence in the least bit to table dances that you may be familiar with. The girls strip completely naked, if they aren't already and climb up on the hapless patron and hump him until the dry cleaning job on his trousers is completely ruined.

Not only that, they work in pairs where one girl will smash her melons into the poor guys mug while her best girlfriend gets busy doing the same dry humping act that has been previously described in the above paragraph. Also, its no secret that when their work is done at the clubs they aren't above pulling a swing shift at a patrons hotel room for a few extra bucks.

All of the cab and pulmonia drivers in Mazatlan know where these places are, so you just have to tell them the name of the club that you are interested in going to. Also, there are also a few massage parlors sprinkled around the beach area where you can get a “complete massage” for around $50-$70 and you can bet that your driver knows where they are as well.
